Are you a visionary Senior System Architect ready to turn complex engineering challenges into market-defining connected products? As a world-class technology design house, Sigma Connectivity invents the future of tech—delivering advanced connected solutions globally. Apply today to start building tomorrow's tech!

About the role

As a senior System Architect, you’ll translate client visions into robust blueprints for connected products, bridging hardware and software to define the project skeleton. As a part of the Industrialization & System Design team, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy for manufacturability, testability, and product launch—driving DFX (Design for Excellence, including DFM and DFT) directly into early PCB designs and defining test architectures from initial prototype validation through to mass production.

You are offered

High-Impact Engineering: Own the technical vision for complex, market-defining products from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

World-Class Team & Culture: Work alongside elite cross-functional engineers in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Cutting-Edge Projects: Direct access to diverse, challenging hardware and IoT projects for leading global brands.

Autonomy & Influence: High visibility and direct influence over architectural decisions, client strategies, and design-for-test practices.

Work tasks

This role focuses on the early-stage design and technical leadership of industrialization projects, ensuring that hardware and software components are optimized for production and testing.

Architecture & Strategy: Lead system architecture definitions and create comprehensive production test strategies that balance quality, yield, schedule, and cost.

Requirements Breakdown: Convert product, hardware, and quality constraints into clear specifications, including System Requirement Specifications, Production Test Requirements, and Test Implementation Specs.

DFX & Risk Management: Review hardware schematics and PCB concepts early to identify manufacturability, testability, and reliability risks, driving proactive mitigations with R&D teams.

Test Architecture Definition: Define test coverage, interfaces, embedded test functionality, fixtures, measurement methods, and factory data traceability.

Cross-Functional & Client Leadership: Drive technical discussions and balance trade-offs with customers, EMS partners, suppliers, R&D, quality, and sourcing teams.

Mentorship: Guide engineering teams on best practices in systems engineering, hardware testability, and production deployment.

We are looking for someone with

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Engineering Physics, or equivalent practical background.

Proven experience working as a System Architect guiding complex electronic or embedded products from concept to production.

Proven background in production and manufacturing engineering, with strong practical experience bridging development and mass manufacturing environments.

Solid hardware depth to evaluate schematics, drive DFT/DFM improvements, and establish production test architectures alongside EMS partners.

Fluent English communication skills to present trade-offs, draft specifications, and align stakeholders

It is meritorious if you have

Experience with connected/IoT devices, wireless protocols, or embedded systems.

Exposure to end-of-line testing, RF validation, JTAG, or factory yield optimization.

Track record supporting customer proposals, SOWs, or technical pre-studies.

To succeed in the role, your personal skills are:
