The position
Cambio delivers value to our customers both in the form of products and services. To support one of our largest and most business-critical customer environments, we are looking for a System Engineer with a passion for automation, operations, and continuous improvement.
As a System Engineer, you will play a key role in application operations, driving automation across installation, configuration, upgrades, validation, and the ongoing management of business-critical application environments. You will also be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices and collaborating with development teams to improve the software delivery process.
You will work with designing and continuously improving the services we provide to the organization. The role focuses on building, operating, and evolving automation solutions and our application. You will use systems such as Git and Ansible Automation Platform as part of your daily work, collaborating closely with our IT Operations organization and delivery organization. A strong emphasis is placed on using Ansible to design and run automations in highly critical environments. You will also have the opportunity to work with modern tooling to drive innovation, reliability, and efficiency across the organization.
Since much of the work is performed within the customer's infrastructure, you will need to balance established requirements with opportunities to challenge and improve existing ways of working.

Requirements
Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure automation solutions, for example using Ansible or similar automation platforms.
Proficiency in automation and tooling through scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Experience working with Windows environments from an operations and automation perspective. Experience with Linux environments is considered a plus.
Experience delivering and operating automation in highly critical or sensitive environments
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
It's a bonus if you have
Experience with OpenSearch or similar log frameworks
Knowledge of certificates, PKI, and secure communication principles.
Experience with Java application server frameworks, such as JBoss and Tomcat.
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls and load balancing.
Additional information:
Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm
Scope: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
