Here is an exciting opportunity to join Business Tech as a Project Manager on a one-year temporary assignment. Do you love fashion fit for life as much as we do? Welcome to a world of joyful creativity, inclusive colleagues, and courageous challenges.

At Kappahl Group, change happens when business and technology work together. As a Project Manager, you turn ideas into tangible results and customer value by bringing people together and leading projects in line with Kappahl Group’s overall goals.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you plan, lead and take overall responsibility for the progress and delivery of projects that span both business and technology. Working in close agreement with the Benefit owner and Steering group, you ensure delivery against agreed objectives, timelines and resources, in accordance with Kappahl Group’s framework and project model. Our Project Managers lead projects and teams of varying sizes.

You are a key player in turning business development from an idea into a working solution that creates value for our customers. You lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with colleagues across the organization—from design, production and logistics, online to stores, support functions and Business Tech—creating alignment, managing dependencies and helping everyone move towards a common goal.

Your responsibilities include:

Leading projects from idea to implementation

Coordinating work across multiple product teams

Creating alignment between business needs and technical delivery

Managing risks, dependencies and changes

Driving steering group activities and project follow-up

Ensuring that projects deliver the expected business value

You will be part of a collaborative environment where success depends on strong relationships, clear communication and a shared focus on delivering results.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where business and technology come together. Experience from the retail or fashion industry is considered an advantage.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

Experience leading complex projects involving both business and technology

Good understanding of technical delivery, including requirements, development, testing and implementation processes

A good understanding of agile ways of working

Experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The ability to create structure, clarity and momentum in complex environments

As a person, you are proactive, structured, and skilled at building relationships. You enjoy bringing people together, navigating different perspectives, and helping teams succeed. You communicate confidently in both Swedish and English. Experience of PPS or a similar project methodology is an advantage.

The Kappahl Group is a leading fashion chain in the Nordics, with around 350 Kappahl and Newbie stores across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Poland and the UK, as well as online sales in more than 20 markets throughout Europe and Asia. Founded in 1953, the Group has grown into an international fashion business with profitable and sustainable growth at the heart of its strategy.

We want to make a difference in the fashion world and to lead the way by always keeping our promises: taking care of the world around us and minimizing the environmental impact for each garment. And at the same time fulfil our employee promise "We promise you the right to always be yourself - a place to belong”. The Kappahl team consists of some 4,000 colleagues in eight countries, all with different backgrounds, ages, skills and styles. Our common motivation is to create a responsible world of fashion and offer fashion to a wide variety of people and lifestyles. A responsible fashion that feels right, for the bearer and for the world we live in. Today, more than 99% of the products are made of certified or licensed materials. Our overall climate goal is to halve the value chain's absolute climate emissions by 2032 and to have 100% traceability from fibre to finished garment in 2026. We also have a goal that 50% of the range is produced for a circular economy in 2026.
