Assignment Description
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong technical understanding and proven experience leading Data Center to AWS cloud migration projects.
The role involves managing complex migration initiatives from planning through execution and delivery, coordinating multiple vendors and cross-functional teams while working under demanding timelines.
What You Will Work On
Lead Data Center (DC) to AWS cloud migration projects from planning through execution and delivery
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables
Coordinate multiple vendors and cross-functional technical teams
Manage project risks, dependencies, issues and escalations
Coordinate infrastructure and cloud migration activities
Ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and scope
Communicate with technical teams, vendors and stakeholders
Drive project execution in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
What You Bring
Proven experience leading Data Center to AWS cloud migration projects
Strong project management experience with complex technical projects
Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies
Strong AWS understanding in the context of cloud migration
Experience managing multiple vendors
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Ability to manage demanding timelines and multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Meritorious
Experience with large-scale infrastructure transformation
Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
Experience with data center modernization
Relevant project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
