Are you a registered nurse looking for a rewarding career in a close-knit community surrounded by spectacular Arctic nature? We are recruiting nurses for a municipality in North Troms, one of Norway's most scenic regions, where mountains meet fjords and outdoor adventures are part of everyday life.

The exact location will be shared with selected candidates during the recruitment process due to confidentiality.

These are permanent full-time positions within a well-organised municipal healthcare service in North Troms. You will join a dedicated home care team providing high-quality healthcare services to people living in their own homes. The role offers a varied workday, close patient follow-up, professional responsibility and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's daily lives.

Main responsibilities include:

Providing nursing care in both institutional and community-based services

Health assessments, treatment and follow-up of patients

Collaboration with physicians, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals

Participation in rehabilitation, preventive care and health promotion activities

Supervision of students and colleagues when relevant

Contributing to quality improvement and development of healthcare services

Qualifications:

Authorisation as a registered nurse within an EU/EEA country

Good communication skills in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish, or willingness to learn Norwegian

For international candidates, Norwegian language training can be provided

Valid police clearance certificate before commencement

Driving licence category B is required

Responsible and professionally engaged

Flexible and comfortable with a varied workday

Able to work independently while contributing to the team
