At Coretura we build the software platform at the heart of next-generation commercial vehicles. Our customers build their vehicle-level safety arguments on top of what we deliver, which means safety can’t be added at the end. It has to be part of the architecture from day one. We’re looking for a System Safety Architect who wants to make that happen.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own the platform safety architecture, safety strategy and safety case. You’ll define safety concepts and mechanisms and allocate them across compute, operating systems, middleware and platform services.

This is a hands-on role close to the engineering work. You’ll make system-level decisions and stand behind them in conversations with engineers, customers, assessors and leadership. You’ll also guide and mentor our teams in safety-driven design, helping make safety a natural part of how we build.

We believe you bring

Experience creating, owning and defending safety cases that have supported product release in automotive or another safety-critical industry. You have strong communication skills in English, with the ability to make complex safety topics clear to both technical and non-technical audiences.

To thrive in this role, you also have:

Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 or an equivalent standard across the full safety lifecycle

A track record of defining and reviewing safety architectures for mixed-criticality systems

The ability to balance safety against cybersecurity, performance, cost and delivery constraints
