Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Function Architect to support an automotive client
What You Will Work On
Support vehicle software and functional changes from concept to approved solution.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to identify system impacts, dependencies, and affected functions.
Define and document system concepts, interfaces, messages, and functional behaviour.
Work closely with system owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Communicate complex technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Document architectural decisions using the relevant architecture tools.
Support system-level decisions by evaluating impacts, dependencies, and trade-offs.
Promote efficient, flow-oriented development processes.
What You Bring
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Solid experience in function development, system development, or system ownership in automotive or embedded systems.
Good understanding of vehicle architecture, system complexity, and interconnected systems.
Experience with system requirements, functional decomposition, and system concepts.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Meritorious
Previous experience working with the client.
Experience as a Function Architect, System Architect, or in a similar architecture role.
Knowledge of automotive communication technologies such as CAN and Ethernet.
Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, or agile embedded software development.
Knowledge of Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), autonomous vehicles, or advanced vehicle control systems.
Familiarity with architecture toolchains and model-based development.
