Bring your life

Do you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and using simulations to influence product development before physical testing begins?

At Thule, we develop products that inspire an active life. In this role, you will use advanced structural simulations to help shape product design, improve performance, and ensure our products meet high standards of safety, quality, and durability.

If you are motivated by combining engineering expertise with analytical problem-solving in a collaborative product development environment, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you'll do at Thule

As a Structural Analyst, you will work closely with engineers and project teams throughout the product development process. Through advanced structural simulations, you will help build knowledge around product behaviour and provide insights that support engineering decisions from concept through verification.

A key part of the role is promoting a simulation-driven development approach. By generating early insights into product performance, you will help teams optimize designs, reduce development risks, and make informed decisions before physical testing begins.

You will take ownership of the simulation strategy for assigned projects, planning and executing simulation activities in line with project objectives and timelines. You will follow up on simulation results and compare them with physical verification and validation testing to continuously improve the correlation between virtual and real-world performance.

You will also contribute to the development and continuous improvement of our simulation environment, helping strengthen simulation capabilities, methods, and ways of working across the organization.

What you bring

To be successful in this role, we believe you have experience working with structural analysis, simulation, or engineering calculations within product development. You are comfortable translating technical data into actionable insights and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges through a structured and analytical approach.

You have a solid understanding of engineering principles, simulation methodologies, and product development processes. Experience working with LS-DYNA and ANSA is highly valued, as these tools are key parts of our simulation environment. Experience with verification and validation activities, including the relationship between virtual and physical testing, is also an advantage.

As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong ability to take initiative and move work forward. You communicate technical insights effectively, enjoy working across functions, and are motivated by solving complex challenges, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. To succeed in this role, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Why you should join Thule

At Thule, we are Proud to Be Thule. We believe anything is possible when we stay curious, take initiative and challenge ourselves. We encourage everyone to take ownership and make the most of their part of the business.

We believe we win as a team by collaborating across functions, sharing knowledge and supporting one another. United by our passion for our products, the outdoors and the Thule brand, we take pride in what we do and create a culture where everyone contributes, grows and has fun.
