This is a fixed-term position for 6 months (working on-site 4 days per week, approximately 30 hours per week) offering hands-on experience across a broad range of finance activities in an international industrial organisation.

About Senior Material Europe

The separator is a key component that helps make lithium-ion batteries safer, more durable and more efficient, supporting the transition towards a more electrified future.

Our production is modern, advanced and operated under controlled cleanroom conditions. Together, we are building advanced manufacturing capabilities in Europe and developing solutions that make a difference – both today and for the future.

Review financial information, identify discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting.

Maintain organised accounting records and ensure that financial documentation is complete and up to date.

Support the Finance Manager and colleagues with other finance-related tasks as required.

A structured and analytical approach, with strong attention to detail.

The ability to work independently, take responsibility and manage tasks according to deadlines.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Previous work experience in accounting, budgeting or financial reporting.

Experience supporting internal or external audits.

Familiarity with SAP Finance modules, particularly SAP FI/CO.

What You Can Expect

You will join a collaborative Finance team of five people, working in an international manufacturing environment where accuracy, accountability and teamwork are essential.

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across core finance activities, develop your understanding of statutory reporting and budgeting, and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.

We value responsibility, continuous learning, open communication and a practical approach to problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to broaden your financial knowledge while contributing to the day-to-day operations of our business.

We look forward to welcoming a new colleague who is eager to contribute, learn and grow with us. If you are ready to take the next step in your finance career and become part of our team, we would love to hear from you!
